« RunAtServer brought their know-how and improved our Silverlight banner quickly. This shows how well they master their expertise. – Jean-René Roy (DevTeach)»

RunAtServer participated to the conversion a Silverlight application 2.0 beta 2 to a Silverlight 2.0 (RTW). The project consisted of bringing enhancements to the application in order to make its rendering even more dynamic. In the version, images were included in the Silverlight application and the later user hard coded URL to access its internal resources such like configuration files. Now the Silverlight banner shows images dynamically from the web server. Moreover the access to the web server is all relative, meaning it is no more necessary to manage the URL.

« Once again, RunAtServer showed their expertise with new Microsoft technologies by adding a new Silverlight video section to our Web Site» - Laurent Giroux (InfoNaturel.ca)

The project consisted on adding a new video section to their existing web site. Since some videos were not in the right video format for the web standards, we used Microsoft Expression Encoder 2 to make the conversion. To play the videos, we decided to implement a video player using Silverlight 2.0. We created the Silverlight video player based on a template released with Microsoft Expression Encoder 2 SP1. This allowed us to use the player to display video information provided from an external data source. Finally, the Silverlight video player was integrated to the web site.
